Coober Pedy is a homogenous precious opal formed during the Cretaceous period, over 100 million years ago, in the freshwater of the Eromanga Sea in Australia. Their unique body tone enhances the vibrant intensity of colour and the diverse play of colour. Like all natural untreated Australian opals, they are durable, stable and unaffected by water. Opals are waterproof and stable - suitable for extended wear, requiring little or no special care. Mohs hardness 5.5 - 6
Turquoise is a gemstone deeply connected to history, protection, and the natural world, often described as a "sky stone" or "robin's egg blue" treasure. Long revered as a protective amulet, turquoise is believed to bring strength, good fortune, and healing to its wearer. These twin pairs were originally sourced in Arizona in the late 1980’s. Mohs 5.
Moonstone is a captivating feldspar mineral, renowned for its adularescence—that unique moonlight-like sheen created by light scattering between the internal alternating albite and orthoclase layers. Birthstone for June it symbolises intuition and balance. Major sources include India and Sri Lanka. Mohs hardness 6.5
