Rhodolite garnet is a popular, rose pink to purple varietyof garnet (a hybrid of both almandine and pyrope) renowned for its beautiful, vibrant colours and good clarity. It often appears eye-clean and is prized for its raspberry-like hues. Named from the Greek "rhodon" (rose), it offers a lighter, more fruity alternative to darker garnets, scoring well on the Mohs hardness scale (6.5-7.5) for durability.

  • Solid Natural untreated Rhodolite garnet. Cushion cut. Total weight: 6.05ct. 10mm long, 10mm wide, 6.60mm deep. Mined and polished in the last century (1978)

  • 9ct yellow gold pendant measures 10mm long by 10mm wide.
