Lightning Ridge is a homogenous precious opal formed during the Cretaceous period, over 100 million years ago, in the freshwater of the Eromanga Sea in Australia. Their unique dark body tone enhances the vibrant intensity of colour and diverse play of colour. Like all natural untreated Australian opals, they are durable, stable and unaffected by water.
Solid Natural Lightning Ridge Opal. Total weight: 2.25ct. 15.50mm long, 7.70mm wide, 3.35mm deep. Mined and polished in the last century (1978)
9ct yellow gold pendant measures 30mm long by 15mm wide
Two solid, natural, untreated Pink Tourmalines were sourced from Brazil in the last century (1988). Their total weight is 0.126ct, and they are 2.50mm in diameter
Natural Tanzanite 3.60mm round and displays a strong purple hue.
